What skin type we have depends mainly on an innate tendency towards a specific skin type. The four main skin types are normal skin, dry skin, combination skin, and oily skin.
In contrast to the innate skin type, the skin condition can change in life due to various internal and external factors.
It is possible that some people already suffer from oily, blemished skin in puberty – others only develop what is known as adult acne in adulthood or may be confronted with pregnancy acne during pregnancy.
CLEANING
Since oily skin makes pimples more likely to develop, you should cleanse your skin daily. It is best to cleanse your oily, blemished skin in the morning and the evening with an anti-bacterial care product such as a cleansing gel. Besides, wash scrubs are particularly suitable for weekly care applications. They remove dead skin and remove the dirt that has accumulated on the skin. Also, they open the clogged pores.
CREATE CLARITY
Have you cleaned your oily skin sufficiently? Very well, then it is time to remove the care residues from your skin thoroughly. Besides, you should make sure that your care products remove excess skin oil and do not damage your skin’s natural pH value. The T-zone in particular (forehead, nose, chin) should always be cleaned, but never too often or with too aggressive agents. Therefore, always use cleansing but mild facial tonic. The following applies to blemished skin: Care, but not over-care!
OIL-FREE CARE – YES, PLEASE!
There is one thing that oily skin does not need: more fat. Therefore, rely on moisture for your facial care. Especially after intensive cleaning, you should apply a moisturizing care product.
Many of these care products were also developed with specific ingredients to inhibit the flow of sebum and reduce the skin’s shine. So you can bypass an oily shine tomorrow.
