OVERSIZE AND EGG-SHAPE COATS FOR FASHION GIRLS
Those who like to wear fashionable pieces cannot avoid these coat models this autumn/winter season. Stylish oversize and egg-shaped coats – so-called egg-shaped coats – are all the rage. Due to their bulbous shape, these coats are the ideal companions for the cold season because those who like to wrap themselves up thickly like onions can let off steam here. You can quickly wear thick sweaters under the extra-wide cut coats.
Coats with three-quarter sleeves are trendy. However, these are rather impractical in cold temperatures. With high-cut gloves, however, the gap can be closed – in the style of the elegant women of the 1960s.
These coats look especially great on tall women. But even petite women can wear them, but you shouldn’t choose the bulky model, because otherwise an oversize or egg-shaped coat can quickly appear compressed. Models made of lighter fabrics are ideal for women with a delicate build, as they do not look so heavy and therefore do not have the effect of a thick woolen coat. You should also make sure that the coat is about a hand’s breadth above the knee.
THE CLASSIC COAT: THE TRENCH COAT
With its wide lapels, double-breasted button closure, and waist belt, the trench coat is always an eye-catcher – and a popular classic that many women have in their wardrobes. No wonder, because the coat is equally suitable for business and leisure and, thanks to the belt and the narrow cut, also flatters the figure.
The coat fits well and doesn’t pinch anywhere, and you should make sure when buying that you can move around quickly in it. This is the best way to test it: Keep your arms crossed in front of your body in the air. Is everything right? Then you have the correct size. The trench coat should also sit well on the shoulders; otherwise, unsightly creases will form here. The coat doesn’t look too tight, and you can knot the belt casually or leave it open. This little trick quickly loosens up the look.
